Arbeia Roman Fort, South Shields

Arbeia Roman Fort

It feels like there was such a lot going on in South Shields last weekend, here was another event this time at the Arbeia Roman Fort in Baring Street, and The Archers of the Tees were on hand to help everyone hit their personal targets. There were plenty of other activities for children and adults with re-enactments, face paintings, World War ll weaponry displays, Roman pottery displays where you could replicate your own with clay, all in all it was good fun and educational.
