Cookson Parade 2009, South Shields

Cookson Parade 2009 #4.

Two little girls, possibly sisters, help each other get through to the end of the parade in the Bents Park, South Shields last Saturday. There were a couple of contingents from our Bangladeshi community in this year’s parade and they were a joy to behold, bringing their own colours and enthusiasm to the event.

Camera details: Pentax K100D, 120 mm lens, 1/350 second, f5.6, iso 200

  1. Hi Curly,

The one in the left of picture is my little daughter and one the right is my niece.

My daughter saw this picture before, and she was chuffed!lol

  2. The colours are vivid, bright, and beautiful to match the faces of those gorgeous children. What does “chuffed” mean?

    • Chuffed means to be pleased, delighted, and excited.
