Marsden Bay, South Shields

Marsden Bay

I’ve been digging into the archives to find this shot of the sun rising behind the beach at Marsden Bay, South Shields, to be honest I don’t have a lot of new material at present. I remember it was taken around this time of year at about 5:40 am. I found it amongst the scores of discs that I have now collected.

I was using just the small Konica Minolta Dimage Z3 camera mounted on a tripod, but because of the excessive noise at a high iso setting it has been run through a few times with Noiseware to clean it up, therefore there was no exif information in this file. My guess is an exposure of about 1/2 second at f8, and an iso of around 800.
