tulips, South Shields

From Amsterdam?

There have been a few huge splashes of yellow around South Shields for about the past six weeks starting with crocuses, then daffodils and narcissii, and now we are being treated to a tumultuous torrent of tulips. My guess is that the majority of the bulbs were imported from Holland.

I found this pair in the North Marine Park yesterday morning.
