Ocean Beach Amusement Park, South Shields

Road train

Found this one behind the Ocean Beach Amusement Park on the promenade in South Shields. It certainly looks as though it’s the ideal transport for a sunny day when you need to get anywhere between the covered promenade and the pier!

  1. That is so cute!

With its length, it looks hard to navigate without tracks though.

  4. Just read the other comments again and the steering is done by a system of links underneath which ensures that the trailers follow the exact line of the locomotive. dont know about reversing though. MikeM
