Chatting at “the lights” in South Shields

“Well this is the trouble when you come out shopping in South Shields, you always manage to bump into someone you know, and then she brings half of her mates along too. Well, I’d bought a new top for the do tonight but Dianne said it wasn’t bright enough, ‘why don’t you try that place up the road or go to the market?’ I wasn’t impressed I’d already been out since lunchtime, wished she’d kept her nose out to be honest, and just as Andrea was about to get us out of a sticky patch Darren rings her and the two of them have a hell for leather argument in the middle of Ocean Road with half of the world listening in!

As for the other three, well, I guess we’ll bump into them tonight, done up to the nines and looking like Paris Hilton lookalikes in Las Vegas, to be honest I wish I hadn’t decided to go, but hey Scott’s coming along so my drinks will be paid for all night.

I wish that stupid Darren would get off the phone, then we could get the shopping finished or hang around in HMV listening to some cool music”

Well, it might have been like that – caught at “the lights” (the junctions of Ocean Road, King Street, Mile End Road, and Fowler Street, South Shields)

The ripped apart frame effect was made in Photoshop using an Alien Skin plug-in.
