Barrington Street, South Shields

BHS

“British homemade snow”

Everything looks different when it’s coated in snow. This is the view down Barrington Street, South Shields looking towards the newish Waterloo Square shopping development with a steady stream of snowflakes adding to the scene.

Two layers in Photoshop, black and white over the original colour layer and the colours picked out by using the eraser brush on the top layer.

Camera details: Pentax K100D, 82 mm lens, 1/125 second, f9.5, iso 400

  2. Nice shot and manipulation of BW – I enjoy your photos. Enjoy the snow – we have lots of it here in Montana. I am ready for Spring.
