River Tyne from South Shields

….and looks like a giant banana?

A. The sky above the River Tyne and the DFDS International Ferry Terminal in North Shields.

I took this shot a couple of weeks ago from South Shields, from the Mill Dam to be precise. It was about 3:00 pm in the afternoon and I wish I’d had enough time to hang about and photograph the changing colours as the sun went down. My best advice if you want a good sunset picture is to wait until the sun has slipped below the horizon.

Oh well, better luck next time I suppose.
