Guitar Hero

Guitar hero, South Shields

A noisy few days!

After plugging in his Sony Playstation, Mr. and Mrs. Curly have not seen much in the way of television over the festive season, “Junior” has decided to become a “Guitar Hero” instead. The game seems to have taken over the world and teenagers everywhere want to be emulating Eric Clapton, “Slash”, Joe Walsh, or Toni Ionni. The only shops I’ve seen queues forming at in South Shields over the past week have been computer and consul gaming shops!

On the plus side of the equation, we old timers and the kids are being reminded of what good rock music is supposed to sound like when it is played by people who can master their instruments.

Is there a Christmas gift which is already getting on your nerves?

Black and white conversion and stage lighting added in Photoshop.

Camera details: Pentax K100D, 28mm lens, 1/30 second, f3.5, iso 200

  1. I made my small grandson a penny whistle, and it was with great pleasure that I noticed that after a mere four days, it had been placed by his mother on a high shelf well away from his reach.

See, one does live long enough to avenge oneself!
