Jarrow Town Hall

Pretty as a picture

Jarrow’s old Town Hall in Grange Road looks sparkling for Christmas with it’s twin guards of Christmas trees and thousands of LED decorations making the old place look more like a decorated cake than a building. Just 3 miles from South Shields, Jarrow Town Hall was the starting point for the famous march to London by unemployed men in 1936.

Camera details: Pentax K100D, 35mm lens, 1 1/2 seconds, f19, iso 800, Velbon tripod.
