Lady in South Shields Market

…..Just pick up a good book

The Flea Market in South Shields is held every Friday and it’s a great place to go looking for that something a bit different or unusual. Interesting bargains can often be found, it just depends upon what you are looking for.

You might also bump into someone with the same interests in mind, or someone who travels, or a collector, you just never know what or who you might find. All the while as life hurtles past, as the serious shoppers fly about in a dashed hurry, the people on the market just take their time, ambling from stall to stall.

This lady is one of the market traders, she’s a regular visitor to South Shields Flea Market and is instantly reconisable with her clothes covered in the badges that she has collected on her travels, she obviously enjoys a good read when she is here too.

  1. Wow. What an outfit! It should be fascinating to ask her about all those mementos.
