Continental Market, South Shields

Continental Market

It’s that time of year when the Continental Market visits King Street in South Shields to entice us with a myriad of flavours and colours to set the tastebuds tingling, these are duck salami sausages which were featured along with Spanish Paella, French Soaps, Dutch pancakes, and Chinese ornaments.

The colours, smells, and flavours attracted many who had not previously tried these unusual but tasty treats before.

Cropped from a larger image.

Camera details: Pentax K100D, 40mm lens, 1/45, second, f5.6, iso 200, flash fired.

  2. I find it difficult to equate Chinese Ornaments with”Continental” market.

  3. I wasn’t tempted by the sausages to be honest, and I guess that the market was trying to encompass all continents this year Trigger.
