Waiting for a train

with one comment

Simonside Metro Station, South Shields

Simonside Metro Station

Simonside is the latest and newest of the Metro Stations servicing South Shields, it was only opened this year and serves a large community towards the edge of the town. From here the Metro train has only two more stops to make before it reaches South Shields station.

As you can see it is well lit clean and tidy, at this time of night the service is quiet, in fact there is only one person waiting for a train.

I guess we aren’t quite the London Underground or New York subway!

Camera details: Pentax K100D, 28mm lens, 1/2 second, f9.5, iso 800, Velbon tripod.
