Bonny bonnet

American circus truck, South Shields

“Colourful” truck

One of the huge trucks supporting Uncle Sam’s American Circus when they came to South Shields last weekend. The artwork on the bonnet (or “hood” as the Americans call it) is very “colourful”, but nicely done.

I found that the circus was quite self sufficient, carrying it’s own generators and portable toilets, safety barriers, and satellite dishes for the caravans too. I also found some huge American 4X4 cars which apparently have zero carbon emissions (very impressive).

Camera details: Pentax K100D, 28mm lens, 1/2000 second, f8, iso 3200

  1. I wonder if she’s an acquaintance of the driver AND is that a portrait of Steven Seagal on the door?
