American Circus, South Shields

…..to the show that never ends

Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends
We’re so glad you could attend
Come inside! Come inside!
There behind a glass is a real blade of grass
be careful as you pass.
Move along! Move along!

Come inside, the show’s about to start
guaranteed to blow your head apart
Rest assured you’ll get your money’s worth
The greatest show in Heaven, Hell or Earth.
You’ve got to see the show, it’s a dynamo.
You’ve got to see the show, it’s rock and roll ….

Lyrics from Emerson, Lake and Palmer’s Karn Evil 9, 1st. Impression part 2.

You can listen to it here, it compliments the picture nicely.

Uncle Sam’s American Circus was in South Shields last weekend, they camped up on Bents Park, and it looked a whole heap of fun, come back and see some of the big trucks tomorrow.

A little bit of masking and blurring to produce this zoom effect in Photoshop.

Camera details: Pentax K100D, 28mm lens, 1/90 second, f8, iso 200

  1. Nice effect–almost looks like you used a Lens-Baby.

So what kind of things do they show at Uncle Sam’s American Circus?
