Forest in Gibside Chapel

Desktop wallpaper?

If anyone fancies this enchanted forest to use as a desktop wallpaper then help yourself from the enlarged version which you will find by clicking on the picture above. The enlarged version is 1284 pixels wide and should suit many monitors, this is also the reason why I have refrained from adding any border to this autumnal scene. Remember to right click and “save as”.

This area of woodland was found at Gibside Hall and Chapel in the Borough of Gateshead where I took my daughter for an afternoon away from South Shields. There are many beautiful walks in the grounds as well as a collection of victorian follies, well worth a visit.

Camera details: Pentax K100D, 28mm lens, 1/125 second, f4, iso 800
