Cow, Bents Park, South Shields

Working animal

I found a cow, a calf, and a couple of caged birds (poultry) at the Enviro fair in the Bents Park, South Shields.

The cow looked a bit nonplussed and sleepy, I wasn’t too sure what to make of it. Do they want us all to have one in our back yards or gardens? Should we turn our parks into dairy farms? Will it help with the world’s food shortage problems?

South Shields Daily Photo is still away on holiday.

  1. He may look sleep, but watch out for those horns! Wonderful close-up!

  2. Heh! A fine display of the good things of Sth S here, Curly. It seems to me that
while we’ve had nothing but solid grey cloud down South, you up North have had a bright sunny time!

Fine shots as usual, and all the usual greetings from RuT.
