Tommy's Party, South Shields

“It was Tommy”

“Honestly mum, it wasn’t my fault, it was that Tommy the trumpeter”.

This young lady has just become the latest victim of Tommy the Trumpeter’s gunge tank, the forfeit for getting the wrong answer to his questions. It looks like she was covered by two dozen rotten eggs!

Tommy’s Parties are held every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon in the Amphitheatre on Sea Road, South Shields throughout August, a three hour extravaganza of thrills, songs, jokes, magic, games, competitions, and all with a different fancy dress theme. The events have been going for years and are hosted by Tommy the Trumpeter (aka Ray Spencer, the Director of the Customs House) and are a fun packed afternoon for children of all ages i.e. three to ninety-three!

Camera details: Pentax K100D, 450mm lens, 1/90 second, f13, iso 200
