Under the rainbow

rainbow, off South Shields

Colourful Play

A fairly rare event, a glorious rainbow falling into the North Sea just off the beach at South Shields. What an interesting backdrop to the family playing on The Lawe with the muti-coloured fence almost replicating the image of the rainbow.

Odd thing is, it only rained for two minutes!

Camera details: Konica Minolta Dimage Z3, 260mm lens, 1/1000 second, f8.0, iso 400

  2. Rainbow always reminds of the faithfulness of God and His Promises!

It always caught me unprepared, meaning I don’t have my camera with me to catch its beauty.
But, I do pray that I would be prepared at other times!

  8. The only post processing was a levels adjustment and sharpening.

  9. An absolutely fantastic shot. Nature mirrored by human creation and the two men going about their business oblivious to the beauty around them. Wonderfully symbolic and thought provoking.
