Red sky at night

Sunset near the West Park

Just a quick grab a few nights ago.

I’d been down to the riverside in South Shields to photograph the bridge on River Drive but cursed myself for leaving too early. Within fifteen minutes the sky had changed to a boiling red colour, and this is how it looked near the West Park. The silhouette shows the typical terraced housing in this area.

Rule of thumb – always stay for thirty minutes AFTER the sun has set!
