Surfing on Sandhaven Beach

Why 2X2X2?

Well two surfboards, two people, and two waves, may be even two scapes! A landscape and a seascape.

Two local folks getting ready to surf on Sandhaven Beach, South Shields with a stiff north westerly breeze producing decent waves.

Camera details; Pentax K100D, 450mm lens, 1/1000 second, f5.6, iso 200

  3. You have, as they say, some good glass. I enjoy the combination of the warm foreground and the cold-steel water, with the figures to give the picture context and scale.

I have mixed feelings about the new portal (the graphics are awfully dull) but I like the feature that lets you mark favorite CDPB blogs for quick reference. Just added yours to my list.

  8. Some nice shots there! I’m a Sand dancer living in the US, and this really makes me homesick! Keep up the good work!
