Target Rock, South Shields

A South Shields coastal landmark

Another landscape and seascape shot showing the small rocky beach at Graham Sands, South Shields. The large promontory in the background is known locally as Target Rock and is another popular ‘mark’ with sea anglers.

Camera details; Pentax K100D, 28mm lens, 1 second, f22, circular polariser and grad grey filter.

  1. The picture illumines, transforms, reveals to me that –

He is the rock of my strength (Ps 62;7)

Stand upon this Rock. There is no other.

    Thanks for sharing.

  2. A nice viewpoint. I feel as if standing behind that big rock myself. The stony beach is very photogenic and wild though nothing to lie down on.
