South Shields happy sandwich bar

Benny's Pomodoro, South Shields

Benny’s Pomodoro

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bloke so happy in his work as Benny. He owns a sandwich bar and small catering shop in Stanhope Road, South Shields and is always cheerful and happy to chat about anything as he makes your fresh sandwiches, pastas, toasted paninis, or fruit salad boxes. In some respects he reminds me of an old fashioned barber!

Benny’s Pomodoro offers a comprehensive hot and cold menu of almost 170 items which can be ordered in advance and delivered. If you are ever visiting South Shields why not give him a call on 0191 4560909, or look him up using the map link.

  2. Great to see a happy store person! And it looks like he is being rewarded for his hard work and happy personality… with thriving business! Good!

If I was near, I’d be glad to buy from him.

  3. 170 items is some going for a one man business. I don’t even think the big chains offer that.

  4. “Thank you for your custom. Please call again.” How nice. Why don’t we have those signs here anymore?
