Westoe Village, South Shields

Autumn in the village (1)

This is the first in a six day series of autumnal scenes from Westoe Village, South Shields. The old village is of Georgian origin and was once separated from South Shields by agricultural fields, now it is almost in the heart of the town. It still retains a special village atmosphere of it’s own.

As you can see, autumn is now very much taking our attention.

  3. Westoe Village is a lovely place, I went to the College near there and it was a joy to walk along Westoe Village itself at the beginning and end of a long drawn-out day in class
