Salami

One of the colourful events which has taken place in recent years is the visit of the Continental Market at Christmas and Eastertime. Stalls are set up down the sides of King Street, South Shields and traders from Europe and the Middle East entice us with a wonderful range of colours and tastes, it’s so colourful and busy that I will feature this market all this week.

Today we have salamis and various other spiced sausages from Germany.

  1. The display was so colorful. Were the smells just as enticing?

  2. The smells along King Street were fabulous, enough to persuade you to spend, spend, spend!
