The Harton and Westoe Miners Welfare featured on yesterday’s picture was officially opened by South Shields MP and Environment Secretary David Miliband. David has been our Member of Parliament since 2001 and is seen by many as a future Prime Minister.

  1. I like the photograph for the contrasts and it is so close to looking like those old shows on stage where a person dressed in black disappeated and you only saw the face and hands. I like it.

    I did a kind of segment on how to create a backyard wildlife habitat and it is at Brookville Daily Photo and it contains a lot of information that may upset some folks. Not sure if you are interested or not.
