Cookson Parade 2009 #1
We had our annual Cookson Parade in South Shields yesterday, it’s our version of a “Geordie” Mardi Gras and kicks off the season of summer entertainment in town. Unlike last year the weather was very kind, it was hot!
I found these three lovely ladies in the forming up area near the Town Hall where they were starting to get excited about the start of the carnival parade, I hope my Photoshop work has done them justice – pity I cannot put names to them.
