Autumn colours
The West Park, South Shields
I should have titled this “Fall” for our American readers, perhaps because ‘autumn’ and ‘colour’ are two slightly difficult words for them to spell, ha, ha!
This is the scene in the West Park, South Shields with the floor covered with the richness of leaf drop, autumn seems to me to be two or three weeks late here this year, perhaps because we’ve had a fairly cool but wet summer season.
I’ve used Photoshop to process the image attempting to replicate the look of Agfa RSX ll film, I think it’s warmth and saturation work nicely with this scene.
Camera details: Pentax K100D, 28mm lens, 1/60 second, f8, iso 200

Thank you so very much for the daily photos. I visit a lot as my family come from your part of the world.
My father and one of my sisters and her family live in Newcastle. And the others live close too.
I live in Texas and miss all theseasons and sights of northern UK.
I really liked the autumn colors.
