Colour Party
Remembrance Sunday 2008 #4.
It seems odd that I should do this picture of the “colour party” in black and white, but it was far more focussed and less distracting than in colour.
These girls were, I think, from the Durham ACF (Durham Army Cadet Force) in South Shields, stationed at Northfield Gardens. It was their job to stand point around the Cenotaph at Westoe on Sunday and to raise and lower the flags (or colours) at the appropriate times.
