QE 2 visit
Final visit of the QE 2 to Tyneside
A bonus post today, here’s a slide show of the Cunard cruise liner Queen Elizabeth 2 entering the Tyne early this morning. All pictures were taken from points along the river bank in South Shields. The QE 2 is to be retired from service shortly to become a floating hotel in Dubai.

Hyia Curly,
Been a regular visitor to your site, watched the QE2 from the Lawe Top, then bolted down to The Mill Dam as did a few hundred more people.We are both ex pats living in Peterborough.Did you go and watch the QE2 when she left the harbour, or is that another feature to look forward to??.
