Boys out on their bikes in Whiteleas Way, South Shields, just enjoying a rare break in the clouds, a little bit of sunshine, as they watch the world going by at their local shops. The Whiteleas area of South Shields is a huge estate and home to thousands of people predominantly in social housing, built in the post war period.

I have often noticed that young folk will sit on absolutely anything as long as it isn’t a seat! Nice social documentary shot
